I had to go into the store today (alarm went off--nothing happened tho--just a fluke) and the 25s are here--they are tiny and gorgeous. I'll be there Thursday so you can come by and get them. I'll call the out of town guys and get them sent out to them. See you guys soon, and Merry Christmas. Tom I lost a lap, can I have one of yours?

I stopped by the store and picked one up. Tom showed me that these cars will take the Ninco classic tires. I put a set of Super Tires on mine and tried to make a few laps. With the narrow tires and the ff motor, I couldn't run as well as my other Scaley 60's F-1 cars. The Lotus 49 and Gurney Westlake cars were much easier to drive and these were the cars that we tried to run, when we decided to turn the voltage down for better control!!! The new Lotus 25 is a very quick car, it required turning down the sensitivity for me to control this car. I will be putting some weight in this little rocket to see if will help. Maybe 4 pounds to help slow it down for my slow reflexes.
Super Tires - 1301, 1204R, 2000R will all work on the "15 x 7" wheels.

I tested the Scaley Lotus 25 on my Roller test bench against some other 60's F-1 cars. It was the winner in wheel speed RPM. It out performed the other Scaley car and even the Policar F-1. I don't know if Scaley still rates their motors at 18k RPM or not, but this one will make that RPM for sure, with a little extra.
