As the title states what should the next class be? We have a list of classes but no run order necessarily,
1. Rally 2. Fly classics 68-72 3. 1970’s F1 4. Ford GT 5. Carrera DTM 6. Daytona Prototypes

Would all these choices be stock with tires only change? Are fly classics still available?

Marc, they would probably follow in our past classes footsteps but im open to anything really. I just pulled these from a list that was compiled a little while ago.
Chris, im not sure if it’s going to be GT40’s or if the class will include the GT as well but again im open for whatever

Nick just pulled the list from the other thread where everyone put their input in and Jim made the overall list and stated the committee would classify the rules per class. We just wanted to get an idea of the run order we'd like to do so we can all acquire cars. Chris I believe it is a gt40 class. As for makes that will need to be discussed with the committee I think but not sure. Marc yes fly classic cars are available in lots of models brand new from multiple sources with what appears to be a 18k motor with an inline or sideways mount.

When classes of cars are run, the cars may be all from one manufacture, such as Revoslot GT class, or it could be cars that raced during the same "time frame", such as 1970's F1. The Ford GT class, to me, would be the 1960's Ford GT cars, such as the Ford GT40, Mk1, Mk2 and the MkIV. I would also think that the Ford P68, made by NSR could be included in this class. If someone was thinking of the Modern Ford GT, I don't think there are many cars available to buy and run. (I do have a couple of Ninco Modern Ford GT's that could be used in the Modern class, but not my best choice for racing) (It was Ninco's first cars that may have had motor pods and they didn't have adjustable front axles. With a motor upgrade to the NSR FK-180 king, then the Ninco Ford GT is a good car for the Modern class)
