Question? Were the nominees allowed to vote? Were they allowed to vote for themselves also? And will the numbers be posted not that it make a difference.

The voting was done by a vote on paper at Harry's. I collected all of the votes after the race. Since we didn't announce that we were voting at Harry's, ahead of time, and not all of the members were present, I called the 5 members that were not present at the race and asked each member if they would let me take their vote, knowing that only I would have to know how they voted. The members at Harry's were given a blank piece of paper and it was folded when returned. So, I can only say that each nominee did get a blank piece of paper and I have no idea how each member voted. I would have to say that a nominee could have voted for themself or that they may have only voted for the other three or less nominees they wanted. I counted the votes and checked the totals a couple of times to make sure I counted all of the votes that were cast. The voting was close, and I have posted the results.

There were no extra write-in votes to confuse the totals, only had the nominee's names on the papers.

In one of our final services as outgoing board members, John Parker and I performed a post-election recount for the oncoming board election tonight. Using the list of votes cast by phone together with the actual ballots cast at Harry's home, we recounted the votes separately and both of us have verified the final count was done accurately.
Once again, congratulations to Bruce K, Ian, Marc and Robert for their election to the board, and to Jim as President of RMSCC.

I think the other members should be able to see this board so they may have a little to say about what is going on with them. Just my opinion.

This board is just an announcement of who is now on 2024 RMSCC Board. You can see the same as anyone else.

I think the other members should be able to see this board so they may have a little to say about what is going on with them. Just my opinion. Tom Tom, my reference to the rules for the upcoming Trans Am class is currently being refined in the private Board Member's thread. Due to the fact that this class will be a "Modified Limited" one, it requires more detail and consideration before it can be released. When it is, our members will be able to review and comment on it before it's ultimately finalized and issued as the "official" version. Hope this clarifies for you.
