To all the RMSCC members:
I will be taking a new job beginning February 4 that will entail me relocating back to Southern California, from where we moved just a bit more than a year ago.
I will be present at the first two RMSCC races, but the second race on Jan 19 at Tom's will be my last regular RMSCC race.
I want to thank you all for accepting me into your club and for putting up with some of the disruption of "normal activities" that I am sure I caused at times! I know that I brought a very different approach to slot racing to what a lot of folk were used to, and for some that may have been hard to handle. I have though really enjoyed my time here racing with you all, and I value the friendships I have built amongst you. I hope that you all feel that I have contributed something of value to the Club too during my membership.
I think the Club is poised for a really positive and successful season. The new leadership is doing what is needed to ensure that, and I can only see the club getting stronger. I am going to miss the intense competition and the camaraderie that exist amongst us now.
I will stay in touch through this board and will follow your racing attentively.
Tom has indicated that Colpar may be in a position to purchase my Carrera layout for the store, but in case that falls through, it will be up for sale, as I do not plan to take it back to SoCal. My wife has agreed to allocate a section of the patio for a routed track....... ;D
I will see you all at Joe's track Saturday.

Dennis, oh I forgot to tell you, in order for you to take top prize at the Slotter's Ney Year's Party you have to agree to remain active in the RMSCC for at least one year. Sorry, I forgot to tell you! Well, I guess that probably won't be enough to get you to stay will it? (grinning widely) All kidding aside, we will sorely miss you! You have been a wonderful influence in our club and to me personally. Thx, Steve

I for one will miss you, Dennis, as I'm sure everyone else in the club will. You have made me a better racer and have convinced me to try to build a brass chassis. I have a plastic /24 Lotus 19 body to put it under. I look forward to the next 2 races with you and wish you much good luck in SoCal.
Tom ;D

Dennis-
Deeply sorry to hear this, as I know I will miss your being a part of our little club. I wish you much luck in all your endeavors out in SoCal- I am sure you will not much miss the weather! If Tom cannot buy your track I will take it off your hands gladly, as I have the perfect spot for it....
