Corkscrew is the squeeze section with not much passing there just like the real track. Don't tell that to Alex Zanardi

Looks like another Crosby Masterpiece! I think I will not take my turn on the Blue lane. That down hill switchback will surely find my cars/trucks upside down for sure. Did you wire the track for extra brakes?

Did you wire the track for extra brakes? Jim W Thanks Jim. Yes... This ain't no flat track ! Don't need any extra wiring, the Slot.it controllers have more than the two basic knobs everybody is used to and comfortable(complacent) with. They do have a brake button for those that dare.

Oh, I was thinking of a switch to allow about 6 volts to slow my car for going down the Corkscrew, that is negative voltage. Maybe I could back up the hill then!!!

Is the track had any changes since the move to the new location? Is the track wiring still the same for the controllers?

No, You can bring your controller as long as it has an XLR plug.

If you go to Slot Car Corner website and view their guides for track wiring and controller hook ups, it will show the way to wire a XLR plug. Pin 1- Black-track Pin 2- Red-negative from power supply Pin 3- White- positive from power supply
These are for a Positive Polarity wired track and controller.
If using a commercial track, such as Carrera for power using factory track plug ins, the wiring needs to be for a Negative Polarity. You will also need different controllers for Negative Polarity, like I had on my 4-lane Carrera track. Don't try using the electronic controller with the different polarities, It Will Not Work, unless you have special controller like the Neo Difalco.

I now have both on my wood track, three posts and XLR connectors. I have had a problem with my controllers after someone tried to hook a controller on each connection. You can only use one controller at a time on each station. My brand-new controller was made useless by not disconnecting the XLR plug and then using the three post connections with a Negative Polarity resistor controller.
Marc G has not had any problems with having both on his track.
