That's so cool, I spent many Saturday nights there back in the mid to late 80's. Fun times.

Dennis, had not thought about this place in years. Managed to go there a few times as well as Englewood Speedway and participated in an autocross at the facility.
So thanks for bringing back fond memories.

If you look close at the South fence, you may see where it caught our 55 Chevy "Late Model" after the transmission lost second gear on the track and Fritz Wilson pushed us up the fence when he couldn't stop from the grease on the track. 1971, I think. He never got around us that night with his 426 Hemi powered Plymouth. We had a few problems at Lakeside, so we didn't continue racing there later on. The picture in my room of the 65 Chevelle and crew is from Lakeside. It was the first night with the "new" car, it wasn't lettered yet with our sponsors.
