1) This class will follow the Sideways Group 5 class. 2) General BS+ rules will apply. 3) Stock tires may be replaced with silicone tires, not to protrude outside of body fenders when viewed from above. 4) Chassis must clear track by a minimum of 1/16”. 5) No traction magnets allowed, however weight may be added. 6) The manufacturer intends for “chassis float” to be achieved by adjusting the four screws within their brass nuts on the “chassis plate”. 7) Body, chassis, motor, gears, axles, and wheels must remain stock, retaining the stock gear ratio of 12/33. 8) Either the stock shallow guide or stock deep guide that both come with the car may be used, although the deep guide may interfere on some tracks. 9) Eligible Revoslot cars for this class include: Dodge Viper Porsche 911 Marcos LM600 Toyota Supra Ferrari F40 McLaren F1 GTR Corvette C5R

The RevoSlot GT2 class is for cars that may have run in GT1, GT2 or other classes like what they ran at LeMans. The GT2 has been a designation for these cars from when they first came out with the Porsche GT2 car. My guess is that the name has stuck like the "pony" cars of the 1960's. The Mustang was one of the first cars then, and it sold very well, so other cars were made to compete against it. (All of the cars were referred to be "pony" cars, even though the Mustang was the only pony by name.)

Just ordered the Viper, what tires should I be looking at, to make sure I pass tech? I have Supertires 1502R coming to Colpar for those cars. You can also use Quick Slicks TS43F (firm) or XF ( xtra firm) from slotcarcorner.com Tom
