The first "Organized" Northern Colorado Thursday Night Race will be held at Warren Lake International - Track will open at 5:30, Tech at 6:00 with racing to Start at 6:30. The intent is to be completed by 9:00pm so we will decide how many lanes we will run on based on the turn out (we will see how this works out). Two Classes will be run and as always you can use your controller or one of the house controllers: Professor Motor, Defalco Neo or Slot It. Currently we do not have the XLR plugs wired, so be set for banana plugs or alligator clips. I am going to up the voltage on the track to 11.5 on the meter, which the power supply will drop to about 11.0 with all four lanes running but we have up to 75 amps available. We will have two tire cleaning station by the start finish line to use, no other cleaners should be used. We will keep the TNT by the cleaner to refresh as needed.
Tables are now available by the track, as I moved my work area to a new spot and the pool table has the top on it so that is available as well. If we need more space the theater is also available. As we have been doing in the past, the track will be set up for 3min practice sessions when you arrive. Start on any open track and move to the left for the next session. If the track is filled, go to the right end of the track and wait for the red lane to open up. I would recommend no more than two cars with you, as we are only running two classes. You can always get out of line go back and get other cars then rejoin for the next open session. The track has areas by all controllers to set your cars on. The track will be open for another 30/60 min for anyone wanting to test other cars after racing and photographs are completed. This way the track will be cleaned and best represent a race night.
No food will be served, but you all know I always have something around. There will be water, tea and sodas in the refrigerator. Anyone wanting to contribute a buck or two to cover the TNT and refreshments, it would be appreciated.
We will start a Facebook Thread for this group. At the end of the evening, we will take a group photo of the racers, cars and then podium for the two classes. No points just bragging rights until the next race. I have suggested we follow the RMSCC race classes at that time, but we will confirm the cars for the next event before we leave that evening.
We are limiting the entries to 12, so please let us know if you are attending by posting below. I will keep this top thread set up with entries as I get them.
Thanks
